Volunteer
Service Days
Service projects are great opportunities for groups of friends, neighbors, and colleagues to get together and give back to the most vulnerable members of our communities. Homeful.LA’s team will organize service day projects for groups of 5 or more, with an eye toward your interests and the needs of the community.
To coordinate a service day project, please email Erin Thompson at ethompson@innercitylaw.org at least 1 month prior to your desired date.
Inner City Law Center’s Homeful.LA program can also arrange for your volunteer group to participate in one of the following direct service projects:
Food service for unhoused clients
Beautification and cleaning
Tutoring children experiencing or at risk of homelessness
Professional coaching or mentoring for unhoused individuals
Putting together vital hygiene kits and other resources
Your own idea!
Do – It – Yourself
Create and run your own service project by making hygiene and back-to-school kits for individuals and families experiencing housing instability.
We will provide you with instructions, and you recruit the volunteers and assemble the items. Afterward, you contact us for pick-up or drop-off of your items.
For more details, feel free to contact Erin at ethompson@innercitylaw.org.
